OK, alright, try to contain yourselves Apple fans. The company hosted its big WWDC 2016 keynote event earlier today and during the show, Apple confirmed that the very first iOS 10 beta would be released to developers at some point on Monday. Well, “some point” is right now. Apple’s brand new iOS 10 beta 1 software is available to download and install immediately, and it’s packed full of exciting new features and refinements that iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users have been going crazy over on social media. So now, it’s time to stop talking about all those new features and start trying them out.

As great as iOS 10 looked during all of Apple’s demos on stage during the WWDC 2016 keynote, it’s important that we remind you that if history is any indication, the first beta of iOS 10 is going to be… well… an absolute nightmare. There will be bugs — tons of bugs — and half of your apps probably won’t even open. Making matters even worse, the new software will probably eat through your iPhone or iPad’s battery life in the blink of an eye.

Of course for hardcore Apple fans, those are all small prices to pay to get your hands on iOS 10 before all of your friends do.

iOS 10 beta 1 is intended solely for developers, and a more stable version will be released as a public beta sometime this summer. Of course, anyone and everyone who pays $99 a year for a developer account can install iOS 10 beta 1 on as many devices as he or she wants. If you’d like to install Apple’s new iOS 10 software, simply click this link to visit the download page on the Apple developer site. Then you can back up your data and use iTunes to install iOS 10.

Alternatively, you can install a configuration profile and update OTA.

You’ll undoubtedly ignore this advice but we’re still going to give it to your one last time: don’t install iOS 10 on your main iPhone. This early build could very well make your life miserable if you do. If you don’t care and you need the latest and greatest iOS features right away, then by all means enjoy.

Installing without a Developer Account:
If you do not have the dev account you can still download. First, download this provisioning profile to your iPhone and install it. Next, you shall get the download links onto your iOS device, restart and you are done. Head over to Settings > General > Software update & the Beta 1 download OTA update will be shown on the screen. This is one of the easiest way to get the latest update onto your device.
